Pedestrian Struck Dead In Lehigh County: Coroner

A pedestrian succumbed to his injuries Monday night, Dec. 4 after he was struck by a car in Upper Macungie, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.

Sixty-nine-year-old Bruce C. Foley was on the 5600 block of West Tilghman Street when he was hit around 7:15 p.m., according to Coroner Daniel Buglio.

Foley, of Lower Macungie, was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from multiple traumatic injuries before 8 p.m., officials said. The manner of death was ruled accidental.

Upper Macungie police and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office continue to investigate, the coroner added.
